Yarn Candy Monday: Do not attempt to spin this in the wind...

Ruttiger Fluff PrimeRuttiger is in the midst of another coat-molting event.... and I've been collecting his light, soft, airy fluff very carefully in a box.  I decided I would take it out and weigh it over the weekend - just to see what was there.  Seriously, any excuse at all to touch this lovely fluff!

According to the el-cheapo scale it looks like we have around an ounce and a half... but I haven't plucked his legs, chest or belly much yet.  I'm not sure if that's why the yield is light, or if it's because he is so little yet.  Also, this time, it feels like his second coat grew in a lot more than last time before the primary coat let go.  You can see he is not nearly as bald as he was during last coat blowing season.

The fluff itself is so light... even carrying the container, little wisps fly out and gently float to the floor.  It takes forever for a dropped poof to float down, almost mesmorizing in fact.

You could never spin this fiber while outside... it would just float away on the breeze!

Ruttiger can't seem to figure out why this bowl smells so familiar... it has a certain scent?!  it smells good, well alright anyways... I'm not sure where I've smelled it before!?  Hmmmmm.

Nobunny said he was the smartest rabbit in the hutch ;)
